We didn't really do anything special for our anniversary mostly because it was Sunday and we had church and lessons to finish preparing for, but it was perfect. I made the most delicious heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and then we did our regular Sunday activities. Nick gave me my presents early because you can't really hide a dozen roses and one fantastic gerber daisy (my absolute favorite flower). He also got me two new books for my child's book collection. I got Nick the best Wii game EVER... Mario Kart! He pretty much played it all afternoon, which makes me happy because I have no doubt that I got him the right thing. All in all it was just a really relaxing and fun anniversary. Oh, and don't watch Defending Your Life it's not as good as Nick remembers it.

My presents! (If you are wondering about the book titles, read the books, laugh your head off and then thank me later...Mo Willems is incredible...)

Nick's Present (Of course you'll notice that he's in 1st place...)

This is Nick this evening...playing Mario Kart...

Ha-ha! Actually we had a dramatic reading of Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed for our Talent Show. First time I had heard of that book or even that author. So funny.
