This last Saturday Nick and I were sitting around trying to figure out what to do with our free day together when Nick came up with a brilliant idea. So after we finished getting ready we headed off to Fairfield to visit the Jelly Belly factory! It might be a little bit of a drive but the tour itself is free and it includes FREE candy so I'm not sure there is a down side. Unfortunately our camera is hiding from us right now so when we stopped for gas I bought a disposible one so that we could document Nick's first time taking the tour. You don't get to see pictures however, because my parent's scanner currently isn't able to actually scan anything. We had a good time though and enjoyed going around sampling candy and making our own master mix to take home with us. I would recommend it if you haven't gone...although if you go during the week it's a little bit cooler because you actually get to see the workers and machines doing their jobs. If you do decide to make the journey stay away from the Cold Stone Birthday Cake Remix Jelly Belly Nick thinks that they taste the way he imagines baby wipes would...gross....

Most Popular Jelly Belly: Very Cherry
P.S. You can check out the website for some pictures made out of all Jelly Bellys in the Bean Art Gallery if you ever get really bored. I personally love that someone felt the need to make one of George Clooney.

Babywipes!? Staying away!!!
Jelly Belly Factory...I've been there! :) Yea!
You know I never really thought about what baby wipes would taste like but I bet if you ask Jill sure could tell you. LOL
Very cherry as the most popular? Gross, how about butter popcorn? Even though it doesn't really taste like butter popcorn.
OHHH how fun. Do these things as much as you can because when kids come....ummm...not really that much fun anymore! :)
